3. Enter the portdisable command to disable the port before a configuration change can be

made:

Switch:admin>portdisable 0

Example of the portdisable command screen display:

port 0 disabled

4. To configure the port speed, use the following command syntax:

Switch:admin>portcfgspeed 0 2

Example of the portcfgspeed command screen display:

port 0 speed is set to: 2G

5. To configure the E_Port mode, use the following command syntax:

Switch:admin>portcfgeport 0 1

Example of the portcfgeport command screen display:

port 0 eport mode is: ENABLED

6. Enter the portenable command to enable the port:

Switch:admin>portenable 0

Example of the portenable command screen display:

port 0 enabled

Viewing the Port Speed Setting

To view the port speed setting, use the following command syntax:

Switch:admin>portcfgspeed 0

Example of the portcfgspeed command screen display:

port 0 speed is: 2G
